School Governance
Our Governing Body plays an important role in ensuring that Ysgol Gyfun Heolddu is led and managed effectively. Governors work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to support the school’s vision, monitor progress, and help ensure that pupils receive the highest quality education.
Governors have legal responsibilities relating to the strategic direction, policies, and overall effectiveness of the school. They ensure that the school meets statutory requirements and supports the delivery of its educational objectives.
The Governing Body meets regularly as a full governing body and through individual committees to consider key areas of school development, performance, finance, and wellbeing.
